Phasepoint specializes in a new type of software solution, specifically targeting the mobility market. The fundamental architectural paradigm addresses 3 fundamental principles:
1) Client Brings Infrastructure(CBI): in today's mobility centric information market place the user is continuously moving about with the compute power of a main frame and the network connectivity of multiple corporate networks in the palm of their hand. The need for additional infrastructure is questionable. They also have access to rich set of devices including: interactive display, audio, positioning (GPS, wireless, accelerometer) and phone/messaging services.
2) Integration at the edge: in modern architectures access to remote systems is via well defined messages transported either via text messages, wireless web services or loosely coupled queues. Integration with legacy/new systems will occur at the edge by ingesting messages.
3) Data in the cloud: modern applications expect to be opportunistic synching data when connected, caching what is needed. Critical data is always available, secure, lives in the cloud awaiting synchronization.

Web Services – We specialize in secure, extensible, scalable and consumable web services based on WS-* standards and/or Representational State Transfer (ReST). Our web service implementations feature integrated authentication and authorization that can be as sophisticated as interactivity with a Secure Token Service (STS). Our partners have experience in the development of fully PA-DSS compliant implementations.
Web Services consumption is driven by a commitment to simplicity, an understanding of the use cases and implementations that are intuitive and self documenting. It is not a choice between Simple Object Access Protocol or REST, but how to publish both and enable access by all development technologies.
